How to make durable computer

How long a computer running well?

A normal computer can run normally for about 10 years. But there is only a while the computer is running normal with less than 5 years old, may be due to factory defects or other matters.

To keep the computer in order to remain durable and we have to understand what the main causes of these electronic goods.

Is the main cause of heat, over heat can reduce the resistance of the components in the computer. The ideal temperature is below 60 Celsius degrees .

Here are things related to the system temperature.

Room temperature The higher room temperature causes the temperature inside the system the higher. system temperature is usually 2-5 degrees above room temperature.

Air flow Good air flow can accelerate the exchange of temperature in the system. This is to maintain the temperature inside the system is always stable and not too higher than room temperature.

Dust Clean the dust from the syatem components, too much dust will generate heat faster and reduce durable computer. The dust usually stick in the fan and surrounding areas. you can clean with a fine brush or with a special tool that can be found in stores.

UPS To anticipate lost power from the wall, peripheral device designed for a stable power, unstable power can reduce the resistance system peripheral.

Power Supply use good quality power supply, I always use a power supply that has a good reputation. You can check the system voltage from the BIOS. Wrong voltage usually be marked as red color by system BIOS.

Caring for a computer is easy but many people do not care, because the price may be so cheap after a few years. How about you?

Reduce Computer Virus Attacks

What is computer virus?

Virus is a computer code that can reproduce themselves and infect computer without owner permission then gain access to computer. Some type of Trojan virus can open computer port and steal or damage computer data.

Who is the creator of the virus?

Computer virus can not be without a creator, Computer virus created by someone who understands computer code.

Why Viruses are made?

Some people use a computer virus to steal data or damage data from another computer.

What Anti Virus?

Anti virus is the opposite of a computer virus, the main job of anti virus is to clear virus and inhibit virus from computer.

What characterize of the computer if it was infected by virus?

Computer infected by virus will running slow, the computer continue to work overtime even user does not use it. Files may be lost or become virus file.

How virus infect computer?

The virus can infect computer from the Internet, email, Storage device (Floppy disk, CD, DVD, USB or other storage ), P2P Application also can be a path to a computer virus.

How to prevent computer viruses?

  • This guide for Windows Operating System only as the most widely used present day.
Install Anti Virus Program after the Windows Operating System is installed, it is to reduce virus attact at the time to install another application.
  • Measure anti virus always up to date.
  • Make sure windows operating system are always up to date(should enable automatic update).
  • Enable firewall.
  • Run the scan with a regular.
  • Avoid using administrator account.

The way above will reduce the virus to the computer, if you do not have an anti-virus you can get Avast Home Edition (free for non commercial usage), I use this anti-virus and quite satisfactory. Or you can try other antivirus software by purchase it online.

Buy a PS3, get a bible bundled with it

Polygamia.pl has posted a rather interesting image of what looks to be a store selling a PS3 but with a bible bundled with it. The games with the actual PS3 don't look to be violent ones, but still this method of cross selling looks to be an odd combination. Full sized image below...

Tekken 6 heading to PSP

IGN is reporting that Namco Bandai has revealed to them that Tekken 6 is heading to the PSP as well as the PS3 and Xbox 360. Looks like the PSP won't be short of quality titles, but not many of them are truly original.

We already knew that Tekken 6 would be storming the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this fall, but today we've learned that the storied fighting franchise is also headed for the PSP.

Namco Bandai didn't release many specifics, but we do know that the portable version of the game is set to release alongside the other console iterations and will pack additional stages, content, items, and an ad-hoc multiplayer mode using "original" and "fan favorite characters." The PSP version will also have "Ghost" Infrastructure mode so that a player can upload his or her character data as well as download others' to see how everyone's skills stack up.

Considered before buying desktop computer

Do you plan to buy a desktop computer this month? That's good because I will explain what you need to consider to buy a new computer. Development of the technology very quickly, in terms of hardware or software. If you purchase your computer 3 years ago may not be more appropriate to use the software by now. Next I will explain what you need to consider.

To be more easily understood so I will make into 2 categories
System Unit (CPU, Motherboard, Processor, RAM, Hard disk, Graphic Card, etc)
Accessories (Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Printer, etc)

System Unit
System core unit of a computer system. Usually this is a rectangular box placed on or under your desk. In this box, there are many electronic components the processing of information. Components that need to consider:

1. Processor (CPU)There are only two options AMD or Intel, How do you choose the processor that is suitable for you? If you only use the computer for the purpose of documents, internet, email, video, music, light game you just need the low-end class. Because this class is able to run all you needs and less power consumption but If you use the computer for game, video editing, horse power application you can select middle-class processor or higher class. because this task requires faster processor.

2. Memory (RAM)Most computers now use the type of DDR2 memory, DDR3 is coming but price is still expensive. If you are using a operating system based on 32 bit memory 2 giga is sufficient but if you use a operating system based 64 bit you need at least 4 gigabytes memory.

3. Hard DrivesLarge capacity is better, you need at least 500 gigabytes of SATAII to ensure the storage of your data.

4. Optical Drives (CD / DVD / Blu-ray)You have at least one DVD drive for installation of operating system, If you want to burn CD, DVD you need a DVD RW is now very low price.

5. Video card. If you only use the computer for documents, internet, email, light games video card can just as optional. you can use integrated video from the motherboard but if you are a gamer this is the primary part for you. Most games today need at least 512MB of memory type DDR3 or better, ATI 48XX series or better or NVIDIA 98XX series or better is recommended.

6. AdditionalMost computers have integrated peripherals such as USB20, Firewire, Card Reader, Modem etc, I hope you can see this before you buy or you can buy it separately.

Accessories

  1. MonitorMonitor LCD is the right choice, light and less power from monitor tube.
  2. Accessories such as keyboard, mouse, speaker, etc you can select according to your taste,Generally all compatible with other hardware.OK, That's all that you needs to be considered if you buy a new computer.

“I'm the best there is at what I do, but what I do isn't very nice.” – Wolverine

Raven Software is no stranger to visceral combat. After all, the development company (owned by Activision) has worked with id Software and is credited with 2005’s Quake 4 title. But it is easy to forget everything the company has achieved before. X-Men Origins: Wolverine – a game that has been released in conjunction with the national film release – is the most graphical game the company has created for the PC – hands down … it is also the most violent.

Let’s get this out of the way immediately: if you deplore excessive violence in video-games, where there is gore as well as dismemberment, stay clear of this title. Logan is wicked, vicious, mostly feral and totally the character created back in the mid-70s (he first appeared in Incredible Hulk #180 in 1974, broke out a bit in 1975’s Giant Size X-Men #1 and then was revised in late 1982.

But that digresses from this game. Through a series of trips into the past, the story of James Howlett (a.k.a. Logan, a.k.a. Wolverine) is told, from the death of his love to his agreement to be part of the Weapon X project headed by William Stryker and have his skeletal structure coated with adamantium. Yes, Logan always had the claws, but they had been bone. He also had the regeneration ability and feral senses.

The game starts with a tutorial that introduces you to Logan during a Black Ops mission with Sabretooth, when things go awry. This also introduces players to the gameplay mechanics they will see for a long time in this title. And therein lays one of the downfalls of the game – the repetition. The levels are designed in a linear manner, and players will have to progress from point A to point B either by wading through silly enemies that still come at Logan – even though they have seen fellow fodder dismembered in a very vicious and brutal manner – or by solving simplistic puzzles.

Yes, there are boss battles and they jump from drawn-out affairs where the opponent regenerates to prolong the battle to tactic-based combat wherein Logan must plan attacks, take advantage of openings and generally avoid the heavy attacks of his opponents.

When it comes to Logan’s own abilities to attack, perhaps the most potent is the lunge move. This allows Wolverine to launch himself across a good distance and impale his foe. If a peon, the move is likely devastating; if a boss-type foe, it opens the door for a flurry of attacks that will impact the health bar significantly … for a time. But that's not all he can do; he can grapple opponents, button mash out combo attacks, and even use environmental elements to impale opponents.

The game itself is broken down into chapters, each with a series of sub-levels. Once unlocked, players can go back and play the level over. Of course, like most games of this nature, the idea is not only to work through the levels efficiently, but to also level up the principle character. In many ways this aspect follows the formula established in other Activision-based Marvel games. You level the character and are awarded points, which then are used to skill up Logan’s abilities. Does this give you an advantage? Not really. The enemies get tougher as you progress through the story as well and at times advancing skills feels more like keeping pace than it does getting ahead.

There are several difficulty levels in the game and this sometimes translates into smarter or tougher A.I. foes, or more of them.

The sound is very, very well done, featuring the voice of Hugh Jackman (as well as his likeness). You can hear Wolverine mumble under his breath at times, and this can be amusing at times.
What does steal the show, so to speak, are the game’s visuals. As mentioned, Wolverine looks like Jackman, but included are his remarkable regeneration powers. There will be times when bullets, and other things, will shred through Logan, revealing either holes that go all the way through or his metallic skeleton. It is quite remarkable to see the healing that takes place until you cannot even tell he was injured. You truly learn to appreciate this early in the game when, after covering all his bones in adamantium, there is a level and a half where – because of a virus meant to kill him – he loses that ability for a short time.

The animation is remarkable, and the environments are superb. There were many jaw-dropping moments when Wolverine attacked with a viciousness not seen before in a game and the results were horrific. But honestly, while some might think the violence excessive, this is a character that produces about 15-inch blades from his hands. He slices, he dices, but it is exactly what the character does.

Wolverine may not sport some of the most original gameplay elements seen in the superhero genre, but what the game does do is delve deep into the Logan’s character and really does an admirable job of making the player feel as though they are Wolverine. This is a game that is true to the character. That does translate into an M rating, but it is nice to see that Raven gave remained true to the character rather than worry about the ESRB rating.

Analyst: Prepare For Sluggish Spring, But No New Consoles Until 2013

Video game investors are bracing for a springtime slump, fearing software sales have hit their peak for the current console cycle -- and looking for new hardware launches.

Not so fast, says Wedbush Morgan's Michael Pachter, who says it's largely tough year-over-year comparisons that shoved March NPD 17 percent down the slope -- last March, after all, saw the record-shattering release of Super Smash Bros Brawl.

And last April, the industry surged under the might of Grand Theft Auto IV's unprecedented launch, which also drove hardware sales -- so the next NPD could be even tougher.

This springtime decline is taking place in year four of our current console cycle -- when, in previous years, software sales generally saw their best performance, and that's part of what's making investors anxious.

"We note that video game software sales typically peak in the year prior to the introduction of a new generation console, as many consumers begin to slow purchases in anticipation of purchasing a new console the next year," says Pachter.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot recently warned publishers to start getting ready for the new hardware generation else be left behind, but Pachter believes previous cycles won't repeat themselves -- next year won't be the year this time, in other words.

"We do not expect a 'new; console in 2010 (other than the long-rumored high definition Wii, which is likely to upgrade the Wii to current console technology)," he says.

"We do not expect the 'next' generation to begin before 2013, if at all. We remain convinced that the publishers will resist the introduction of any video game hardware technology that requires a refresh of software, as the publishers have as yet to capitalize on the immense investments made in being competitive in the current cycle.

"Assuming the next console generation begins after 2013, Pachter estimates that software sales will keep growing 6-10 percent annually for another five years. And more time means steps along the learning curve for publishers, who'll be able to profit better by flattening R&D costs.

"In brief, we think that investors have it wrong so far this cycle, and think that investment in video game publishers will bear fruit for many years," says the analyst.

But when investors worry, share prices slacken, and Pachter cautions publishers' shares may stay depressed until the industry starts posting better NPD numbers -- even though most publishers have been setting and meeting guidance for consistent, if modest growth.

"Comparisons remain difficult and low single-digit growth is likely through July, but we expect a return to double-digit growth in August," he says.

And although it's difficult comparisons to 2008 that challenge March and April, Pachter warns "it would be naive to be pollyannish about the data."

"Negative sales can only mean that consumers bought fewer games this year than last, and should the sales weakness continue in April, we expect many to see this as a signal that the recession is upon us," he says.

Pachter is confident that the core consumer will keep buying, and more casual games, the introduction of the Wii Motion Plus in June, and the launch of EA Sports Active in May could "bring the Wii customer back to retail stores."

Analyst: No New Consoles Until 2013, Despite Slowing Software Sales

Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter believes that we will not enter the next console generation until 2013. Investors are getting a bit worried as video game software sales seem to have peaked for the current generation. I don't think they have, but when compared to last year, sales are down in 2009. Now, some people could freak out and start looking toward the PS4 and Xbox 720, but remain calm.

"We do not expect a 'new' console in 2010 (other than the long-rumored high definition Wii, which is likely to upgrade the Wii to current console technology)," said Pachter.

Sure, sales are down from last year, but the first few months of last year saw the releases of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Grand Theft Auto IV, and Metal Gear Solid 4. Oh, and I heard there's some sort of recession going on, right? A new HD Wii is an interesting notion, but I don't really see the point. Third-party development on the Wii tends to be relegated to lower budget titles and will likely continue in that direction (especially when games like MadWorld bomb at retail). It's the hardcore gamers that want HD and they aren't buying games on the Wii anyway. Do minigame collections really need 720p graphics?

Well, what about the Xbox 360 and PS3?

I don't know about you, but I've never turned on my Xbox 360 or PS3 and thought, "Man, this is old and busted. I hope the next-gen console comes out soon." Developers haven't even gotten to the point where they are hitting the limits of the consoles. Sure, they may need to make the occasional mandatory install on the PS3 or pray to the deity of their choice that Microsoft let's them use the hard drive for serious caching during gameplay.

The turning point to the next-gen for me is when PC games begin to drastically outpace console games. Right now, they are pretty much equal. Sure, PC games can sport better textures and higher resolutions, but the hardware cost is much higher.

I also don't know how smart it would be for Sony or Microsoft to push out any hardware in the next year or two. Sony still needs to get the price of the PS3 down to the mass-market levels. I can't imagine what a system with better hardware than the PS3 would cost in the near future.

Microsoft recently started pulling a profit on the Xbox 360 hardware and have great software sales. Why splinter your audience with a new console? I think Microsoft will probably follow the PS2 and PS3 timing with the Xbox 360 and its follow-up. How weird would it be if by the next generation, Microsoft and Sony had switched places?

I think we'll see a new PSP soon and Nintendo will probably release another iteration of the DS or DSi next week. Probably not, but they sure do like to re-release the same platform over and over again.

Do you see the need for new hardware within the next year or two? Are you unhappy with the performance of your current console? Have you slowed down your purchasing because you think new hardware is on the way?

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is in stores now -- for your home video game console, that is. The X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie, on which the game is based and which makes its theatrical debut today, but it'll be quite a while before it shows up on DVD or Blu-ray.

The X-Men Origins: Wolverine game is an action-adventure title that takes gamers through and beyond the movie's storyline. The PS3 and Xbox 360 game challenges players to hone their animal instincts as they uncover hidden dangers, hunt and defeat enemies and take on seemingly insurmountable situations while discovering the truth about Wolverine's tragic past.

There are also versions for the PC, Nintendo Wii, PS2 and PSP. But it's safe to say most DailyGame readers will be looking for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.
